FYI, please note that imprecise probabilities are one of the main topics
From: Michel Beer [mailto:M.Beer@liverpool.ac.uk]
we would like to kindly remind you of our invitation to submit an abstract to the
IEEE Symposium on Computational Intelligence for Engineering Solutions CIES 2013
which we are organizing within the
IEEE Symposium Series on Computational Intelligence
Singapore, April 1619, 2013.
http://www.ntu.edu.sg/home/epnsugan/index_files/SSCI2013/index.html
Please find attached the outline of our Symposium with a list of topics and a conference flyer for your information. The scope is very broad and includes, for example,
- Complex engineering systems, structures and processes
- Intelligent analysis, control and decision-making
- Management and processing of uncertainties with probabilistic and non-probabilistic methods as well as imprecise probabilities
- Environmental processes,
- Disaster warning and management
- Lifecycle analysis and design
- Automotive systems
- Smart sensing
- System identification
- Decision-support and assistance systems
and any other topics and applications, which involve engineering solutions based on computational intelligence concepts.
We would very much appreciate if you could accept our invitation.
Paper submission will be facilitated through the conference webpage very soon.
Deadline for paper submission: October 10, 2012
Please note that each meeting will consider awarding best student paper and best overall paper awards. The IEEE SSCI 2013 will also offer a number of travel grants for students and travel grants for researchers from developing countries.
Please accept our apologies if you receive this call for papers more than once through different channels.
Sincerely,
Michael Beer, University of Liverpool (mbeer@liverpool.ac.uk)
Vladik Kreinovich, The University of Texas at El Paso (vladik@utep.edu)
