Dear SIPTA-followers,
We are organizing an
inaugural conference for the ERC-funded
Epistemic Utility of Imprecise Probability (EPIMP)
project on 21 and 22 October, online via Zoom. You are all cordially invited to follow the presentations and be involved in the discussions.
The EPIMP project aims to characterise reasonable measures of accuracy for imprecise probabilities and to use these measures to justify and extend imprecise Bayesian methods. This inaugural event covers a wide range of topics in imprecise probability theory.
Its primary aim is to bring together two communities: the IP community and the philosophical community.
Registration is required but free.
More information, including a schedule with the speakers, can be found on our website:
https://ep-imp.gitlab.io/inaugural-conference/. The speakers are
Seamus Bradley
Catrin Campbell-Moore
Jasper De Bock
Gert de Cooman
Ruobin Gong
Miriam Schoenfield
Teddy Seidenfeld
Snow Zhang
We are looking forward to seeing you virtually at our conference!
Kind regards,
Jason Konek, Kevin Blackwell, Arthur Van Camp
