ACM SIGMETRICS Doctoral Dissertation Award

The SIGMETRICS Doctoral Dissertation award recognizes excellent thesis research by doctoral candidates in the field of performance evaluation analysis of computer systems. The award winner will receive a plaque, a $1,000 honorarium, and a complimentary registration to the ACM SIGMETRICS conference. The SIGMETRICS Doctoral Dissertation Award winner and up to two honorable mentions will be recognized at the annual ACM SIGMETRICS conference.

Submission procedure:

All nomination materials must be submitted electronically by the supervisor to the 2025 committee chair, Daniel Sadoc Menasche (sadoc@dcc.ufrj.br). Please use the subject line: "SIGMETRICS DDA 2025 [candidate name]". You will receive an acknowledgment of successful submission within one week of your email. Nominations must be received by the submission deadline and must be submitted in English. Late submissions will not be considered. Supervisors of co-supervised candidates should coordinate to ensure that only one nomination per candidate is submitted to the committee.
