Subject: Call for Papers for FLINS2016 - Roubaix, France, August 24-26, 2016
Dear colleague,
Greetings from FLINS2016!
12TH CONFERENCE ON UNCERTAINTY MODELLING IN KNOWLEDGE ENGINEERING AND DECISION MAKING
ENSAIT - Roubaix, France, August 24-26, 2016

FLINS 2016 is the twelfth in a series of conferences on computational intelligence systems. The conference will be held in the ENSAIT Textile Institute, located in Roubaix, a suburban community of Lille City, in the North of France. It follows the successful previous FLINS Conference
since 1994. FLINS2016 will be included in the ISI proceedings as previous ones. Special issues of SCI indexed journals will be devoted to a strict refereed selection of extended papers.

FLINS, an acronym originally for Fuzzy Logic and Intelligent Technologies in Nuclear Science, is now extended into a well-established international research forum to advance the foundations and applications of computational intelligence for applied research in general and for complex engineering and decision support systems. The principal mission of FLINS is bridging the gap between machine intelligence and real complex systems via joint research.

FLINS2016 will cover the following research themes:
Fuzzy logic, Neural networks, Genetic algorithms, Evolutionary programming, Probabilistic computing, Hybrid methods, Chaos theory, Rough set theory, Evidence theory, Interactive computational models, Artificial intelligence, Expert systems, Machine learning, Process and system control, System identification and modelling, Optimization, Signal and image processing, Pattern recognition, Condition monitoring, Fault diagnosis, Systems integration, Internet tools, Human-machine interface, Time series prediction, Noise analysis, Real time systems, Robotics, Virtual reality, Telecommunications, Data mining, Intelligent information retrieval, Autonomous reasoning, Risk analysis, Decision support system, Security and safety related issues, Wearable computing, Big data and cloud computing, Human factors, Social network intelligence

We sincerely invite your participation for this important academic event. All draft papers (6 pages) should be submitted via the website of FLINS2016 before 5 February 2016.

Located on the border with Belgium, Lille, including Roubaix Town, is the fourth-largest metropolitan area in France and an important crossroad in the European high-speed rail network. Apart from scientific sessions, we also organize two attractive cultural events (visits to the famous museums "La Piscine" and "Louvre II"). A reception can be organized in the sumptuous city hall of Roubaix. A music concert will be organized in the classical library or the spacious honour amphitheatre of ENSAIT.
we look forward to meeting you there in August 2016.
