We have extended the deadline for one page abstract submission for the 7th International Workshop on Reliable Engineering Computing REC'2016 (Bochum, Germany, June 15-17, 2016), until January 6, 2016. Please find attached the updated Call for Papers and see http://rec2016.rub.de for further details.

We have also organized a nice location for the conference dinner (16.6.2016) http://www.henrichs-restaurant.de/ in combination with a guided tour in a Steelworks Museum (Henrichshtte), which is part of the Industrial Heritage of the Ruhr Metropolis. At another  evening (15.6.2016), it is time to relax visiting a MusicShow in the Bochum Planetarium http://www.planetarium-bochum.de/de_DE/program/music. And of course, as already announced on the REC 2016 Webpage, all attendees are invited to visit the German Mining Museum http://www.bergbaumuseum.de/index.php/en/ in Bochum after the conference on Friday afternoon. Further details about the conference program and the social activities will be presented at the REC 2016 Webpage http://rec2016.rub.de soon.

We will start the online registration for REC 2016 at the beginning of 2016. We will try to keep the registration fee moderate (at the moment, we plan approximately 350 EUR).

We wish you and your families a peaceful Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Best regards,

Steffen Freitag
