The 8th International Workshop on Reliable Engineering Computing REC'2018 (Liverpool, UH, July 16-18, 2018) has just finished. Many interesting talks dealt with probabilistic, interval, fuzzy, and other types of uncertainty in relation to engineering applications, papers are available at http://www.rec2018.uk
