(Not so random) new post on the SIPTA blog (on randomness and imprecision)

Dear imprecise probabilities enthusiasts,
Ever thought about the question “when can/should one call an infinite sequence of 0s and 1s random”? You’re not alone!
While you may have never thought about this question for more than a couple of minutes, hours or days, Floris Persiau spent about 5 years thinking about this question, over the course of obtaining his doctoral degree. Curious about his way of thinking about this problem (which, of course, included allowing for imprecision), and curious to find out whether he managed to come up with a satisfactory answer?
Head over to the SIPTA blog now, where Floris Persiau is handing out small bites of the big cake that is his doctoral dissertation — all for free, no strings attached.
Kind regards,
Alexander Erreygers
