Dear Colleagues,

Following multiple requests, we want to inform you that we have extended the submission deadline for the SMPS/BELIEF conference (https://smpsbelief2018.hds.utc.fr/), to be held in Compiègne in September, as follows:

For papers (https://smpsbelief2018.hds.utc.fr/?page_id=66):

• Submission of paper abstract: as soon as you can

• Submission of paper: 6th April (Final deadline)

• Authors notification: 4th May

For Abstract-only contributions (not in the proceedings, poster presentation only):

• Submission deadline: 30th May (unchanged)

Note that these deadlines are firm, and will not be subject to further extensions. We also want to remind you some information of interest:

• BFAS is offering ten students grant, covering the registration fees of the conference (https://smpsbelief2018.hds.utc.fr/?page_id=120)

• Best paper prizes, sponsored by Elsevier, will be given to young researchers (who have defended their PhDs at most 2 years ago)

• Authors of selected papers will be invited to submit an extended version of their submission to the IJAR journal (https://www.journals.elsevier.com/international-journal-of-approximate-reaso...)
