More information is available at http://www.mdpi.com/about/openaccess/ Entropy is an open access journal which maintains a rigorous and fast peer-review system and accepted papers are immediately published online. Because it is an online and open access journal, papers published in Entropy will receive high publicity. The Impact Factor for Entropy is 1.564 (2013). The importance of using statistical methods in the development of research is widely recognized by the general scientific community. [SIPTA] Extended deadline: PhD Scholarship on Regression with Interval Data (University of Hull)

A full-time PhD Scholarship on Regression with Interval Data is available at the University of Hull, Department of Mathematics. Regression is one of the main methods of statistical analysis, widely used in all application fields. However, data are often not of the quality required in order to perform standard regression analyses. In particular, data are often interval-censored, meaning that data values are not known exactly, but only known to lie in particular intervals. The goal of the PhD project is to develop a well-founded general approach to regression with interval-censored data. The closing date for applications is 13 February 2015.
